A revival

Well, it’s been a while.

Sadly, I haven’t been doing much game development of late. Or really anything since my last post … But I thought I’d revive this place anyway. More as a place to put whatever creative endeavours I work on than as a game development blog.

So, what have I been doing in the past two years? Well, back before the global pandemic meant never leaving the house again at least.

Thanks to the opening of Quest (which has now sadly closed) I managed to play a lot of games and made a fair few friends doing so. I also played a lot of D&D – starting with one-shot games and then moving into now playing in multiple campaigns (including running one myself).

And that’s likely what I’ll be talking about here. Not because I think I’m now an expert or something stupid, but I thought it would be interesting to go into things I’ve done like character creation, building the world and story for my campaign, encounter building (more in a story sense than a mechanical one), etc.

And hey, I’ve got all these characters and a whole world I’ve made, maybe I’ll write stuff about them?? In fact, I’ve already written something about a couple of my characters that I’m gonna post tomorrow! Along with some gorgeous art my friend Chrissie made of them.

And then maybe I’ll do some completely unrelated writing and post that here as well.

The possibilities are endless!
